Spring Scrapbook Class in April

Hello everyone,
Have you been enjoying the sunshine? We have, we've been walking in the parks, on the swings and picnics! Roll on more sunny days....and today as with the theme I will be sharing with you our Scrapbook Class Pages, this month's theme was Spring!

The Designer Series Papers used for these two pages were the gorgeous Tea for Two. They go so well with the two step stamp Stippled Blossoms, that was stamped here in two coordinating colours.
A close up of the sunshine.
Supplies Used: (All Stampin Up! Unless Otherwise Stated)
1. Card – Very Vanilla, Bashful Blue
 2. Papers – Tea for Two, Designer Stack in Island Indigo
 3. Stamps – Stippled Blossoms
 4. Tools – Bigz Large Doily, Penant Punch, Top Note Die
 6. Mediums – Midnight Muse, Daffodil Delight and So Saffron
Our next page has more of a 3D effect...
and here is a close up of the flowers using the Secret Garden Framelits, they even come with the leaf!
I also showed my ladies a technique - the fake stitching I call it, where we used the pokey tool to form a pattern of holes and drew lines using a white pen - hope you can see the effects of this in the picture.
Supplies Used: (All Stampin Up! Unless Otherwise Stated)
1. Card – Bashful Blue
 2. Papers – Tea for Two, Designer Stack in Calypso Coral
  4. Tools – HoneyCombe Embossing Folder, Secret Garden Framelits
 6. Accessories : In Colour Brads & Diamontes

Afternoon Tea Cards...

Hi all,

Hope you're all well. Apologies for these cards being posted late. We went to Wales for a week and thought I'd catch up on blogging but we had no mobile or internet network in the cottage we had been staying in. So have had a lot of catching up to do.

Anyhow, here are the cards we made at this month's card class. The Stamp Set we used was the beautiful Tea Shoppe.

This is the card...and it opens up like this...thanks to Beckie over at Inking  Idaho, who I cased this from. It was a very WOW moment when I opened it and all this was possible with the little brads.

Colours used were the Midnight Muse, Pink Pirouette, Baja Breeze and Whisper White. The Tea Cup was cut out by hand but the other shapes were cut using the framelits die.

The next card is simpler and it shows off my new purchase the beautiful Doily Die, it is so effective you don't need much else. Colours used were Perfect Plum and Daffodil delight. The little hearts that you can see along the botton were embossed using the Adorning Accents Embossing Folder.

If you would like to join us and make some beautiful cards, contact me to join my class

Thank you for stopping by, I will be back hopefully tomorrow with some exciting Stampin' UP! news!

I'm writing this in the sunshine (now there's a first!) although I dread to think how cold it is out as I have not yet ventured out!

I want to give you a sneak peek at what I have in store for my card class tonight and if you find yourself at a loose end and like what you see, I do have 3 spaces available for tonight's class.

We are using the Tea Shoppe Stamp Set, which is divine! I love it!
Please get in touch if you would like to join my class tonight (at Springfield Parish Centre at 7.20), it is usually full but I have a couple who are away on holiday! If tonight doesn't suit you, why not join my technique class starting on the 18th of April at Keene Hall between 7.30 - 9.30, and then every 2nd Thursday of the month.
