Sew it Saturday...

Hello readers,

Sew it Saturday was actually a day out admiring someone else's makes.

Off we went to see The Fluffy Cornershop in Bethnal Green. It was busier than I thought but full of delight.

We came away with a Drifter, mainly as this was my chocolate treat as a teen, that my nan used to send to me when I was in Malta. I used love my nans letters and parcels, and I would always have eaten one on my way from the post office to town. So this is going to remind me of that!

Here are some photos, unfortunately today was the last day and I'm not quite sure what is going to happen to any (if she indeed had any) left!

I do have more photos that I will share with you over the next week. My sewing project at the moment is a Ruby dress in some fantastic Fox farbric! More to follow soon.
Thanks for dropping by.

Christmas (dare I say it!) is round the corner!

Dear readers,

If you are still with me (after reading my title post!) I would just like to mention that it is just...

So I have been working  on a few Christmas cards for the last few weeks, to see which will feature in this year's Christmas Stamp-a-Stack!
Dates will be finalised and shared with you this week, so that you will be able to pencil them into your diary, get a baby /dog sitter, take evening off work, invite a friend...any of the above!
So I leave you with one of my favourites which will definitely be making it into the Stamp-a-Stack class!
Uhh, do you recognise anything new?

And Sew it's Saturday!

Hello once again,

(So far so good, 3rd post this week!!)

As some of you may be aware if you follow my facebook page (if not and you would like to, just like my page ) I have started to sew a little too, a few dresses and a few presents too. Today I thought I'd share with you a present I made for one of Lily's little friends.

I had seen something similar online but I'm afraid I didn't use a pattern, but if you look for roll up pencil case you might find something to guide you.
Until next time,
D xx

Sorry it's been a very long while...

Hello everyone,
I must apologise it's been a while since I updated this and the main reason is that I have used facebook more as uploading from my phone is just so much quicker but I promise ( with myh little finger) that I am going to update my blog at least twice a week, a third would be a bonus!

Gosh...there is so much to share with you, I actually need to see what photos I have on my laptop. I must also point out that I have been dabbling in other crafts, such as sewing, knitting and crocheting. Ohh actually last night I did a bit of pottery painting!

But today I will show you a set of cards I have made which I'm calling Butterflies and Bloom!

You too can make these...details are on the poster if you would like to join me, message me or drop me an email @

I will be showing you these individually in the next few weeks. Thank you for reading and it's good to be back - bare with me while I updated my page!
